I am currently research assistant at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, Northeastern University and working under guidance of Prof. Kaushik Chowdhury and Prof. Stefano Basagni.

My research expertise is primarily in the areas of communication and computer networks, modeling and performance evaluation, and optimization. Currently, my research has been focused on the design and experimentation of novel network protocols, architectures, and analytical models specialized for energy harvesting networks and white-space communications with the aim of improving the robustness and performance of such systems. In the past years, I worked on wireless multimedia sensor networks, cross-layer error control protocol design and implementation, and database intrusion detection systems.

I obtained my MS degree with honors in Communication and Computer Networks from Sharif University of Technology(SUT) in June 2010, under supervision of Prof. Hamid R. Rabiee . From March 2009 to December 2010, I was graduate student researcher in the Digital Media Lab (DML), at the Department of Computer Engineering, Sharif University of Technology. I received my BS degree in Computer Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University (National University of Iran) in 2008. From 2005 to 2007 I was member of RoboCup Rescue Simulation team at SBU.
