About Me
I received my B.S. in Computer Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2006 and my M.S. in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts in 2009. I am currently a PhD candidate at Northeastern University and a member of the Northeastern University Computer Architecture Research Group (NUCAR) . My advisor is Professor David Kaeli.Research
My current research includes virtualization and security. I am currently investigating the use of virtualization to provide additional security functionality. Specifically, I am interested in using the virtualization layer to provide additional detection or protection against viruses/worms and rootkits. I am also interested in resource management, specifically memory management. For my master's research, I developed Software Transactional Memory for a multicore embedded system, the Analog Devices Blackfin dual-core BF561. This work was done in conjunction with Draper Laboratory and their Draper Laboratory Fellow program.Teaching
I am currently teaching ECEU322, Digital Logic Design for undergraduates, at Northeastern University. The course presents the fundamentals of digital logic analysis, synthesis, and design of combinational and sequential circuits.Contact Me
