I am currently pursuing my PhD at the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, Northeastern University and working under the guidance of Prof. Kaushik Chowdhury.

My areas of research include:
  • Design and Implementation of Cognitive Radios
  • Networking Issues in Cognitive Radios
  • Energy Harvesting Sensor Networks
I received my B.Sc in Computer Engineering (Specialization in Hardware Design) from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2006. I did my thesis work under the supervision of Prof. Hamid Sarbazi-Azad on SIMD Image Processing Algorithms.

I hold an M.Sc degree in Embedded Systems (Specialization in Embedded Networking) from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands. During the M.Sc period, I worked in the Telecommunication department under the supervision of Professor Gerard Janssen and Dr. Przemysław Pawełczak as my mentor. My thesis title was: Cognitive Radio Design: An SDR Approach. My research was supported by the Netherlands Organization in Applied Scientific Research (TNO), Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Branch.

Here's a list of my publications and academic accomplishments:

My work experiences include:
  • Fanavari moj-e Novin Co. Tehran, Iran (2006-2007): I worked on the implementation of CAN-BUS on TI2000 DSP series. I also developed PC software for real-time testing of computationally-extensive DSP algorithms running on FPGA boards.
  • iDelft B.V. Delft, The Netherlands (2008) as a Web Developer.
